Twelve pieces is a quick, relaxing solve and a good first jigsaw for kids. Forty-eight pieces is the sweet spot for most adults on a phone. One hundred and eight or 192 pieces turn a detailed landscape or city into a longer challenge for experienced puzzlers.
Photos with a clear face, object, horizon or strong colour blocks are easier. Forests, water, clouds, stone and repeating patterns are harder because neighbouring pieces look alike. If you are unsure, start with 48 pieces and build the border first.

What happens to your photo and puzzle link
A gift photo is stored so the recipient can open the short link, and the link lasts 3 days. It is a sharing link rather than a locked photo vault: anyone who receives it can open it. Keep your original photo, and do not upload content you do not have the right to share.
Ordinary gallery play does not require an account. Progress and personal records stay in the browser unless a feature clearly says otherwise. Signing in is optional and mainly lets a daily-challenge time appear on the world ladder. You can read the privacy, cookie, photo-license, and removal pages before uploading anything.
